This paved climb near Revelstoke is located in the midst of some other single-track and dirt trails, and is also near McCarthy Woods. It's also close to Mooney's Bay. It would seem that people like to park their cars at the top of this climb on Old Riverside Drive and then walk down to the paths along the river with their dogs. Some are off-leash......

The gradient shown on the segment is a little misleading at 3.4%, given that it peaks above 8% midway through the climb. The beginning of the climb has no real run-up, so it's hard to carry any momentum into it. It's steady between 6%-8% for 300m before starting to tail off towards Riverside.

There's a dirt/gravel path running parallel to this climb about 200m south that's also worth a crack, particularly as it connects back to Old Riverside via a nice pine grove. That's detailed in the segment A Coyote Ate My Baby.
