This year we will have upwards of 25 people participating.
Support Ottawa's Homeless Families
There is no cost to attend H!3DUCS2021, however we are accepting donations of any amount for Equal Chance, home of the Tabor Weekend Bike Club.
Funds will go directly to support their numerous programs. Please send an e-transfer to Howie for any amount to Rishisocks@gmail.com or donate by credit card directly on their website.
You never know, we may just pass by to say hi to the kids!
Thanks to all for your continued support!
Maritime Beer Selection
Post ride refreshments will include a wide selection of craft beers from Nova Scotia and Howie's home province of New Brunswick. We have 120 big cans of beer. Make sure you check out the list and grab a couple of your favourites from the World's Biggest Beer Cooler (capacity 108 cans).
Swallowtail Lighthouse is a famous landmark on Grand Manan Island, located in the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick.
Swallowtail is located on the North Head of the island. The North Head is also the home of Stanley Road and Stanley Beach. Generations of Stanleys have fished the Star Weir in Whale Cove continuously from the early 1700's to this day.
Swallowtail Light also held special symbolism for Fundy Cable, which was founded by Bill (CW) Stanley in 1971, the year Howie (HW) was born. The Light adorned employee services awards and memorabilia for years, as an unofficial logo and a reminder of the company's local roots, prior to its eventual sale to Rogers.
As luck would have it Picaroons has issued this special Swallowtail Light beer right on time for us to enjoy together.
